On the National Mall just in front of the Smithsonian Castle several people were wondering about. More so than the normal tourists and the locals getting outside to enjoy the nice weather. A couple was walking amongst the crowds. The girlfriend started picking on the boyfriend. The boyfriend was not taking it. A few mean words led to a shove. The shoving lead to pillows. Pillows lead to a group of 500 people shoving and fighting for about 1/2 hour. CNN and other news organizations came and showed the event. The police were watching near by but never came into the crowds. And just as suddenly as it started, the fight disappeared.
Pillow fight day is honestly one of my favorite days all year. I look forward to this fight every year with such fun and anticipation. I have also tried to get my friend's involved who are around the world, as it does have fights break out all around the world. When it is time for me to move, you better believe I will be bringing this fight with me and will keep it up.
